Clinical Staff
Practice Nurses
There are three Practice Nurses and a
Treatment Room Nurse providing nursing care in the following areas of
health:
- Disease Management: Asthma, Diabetes,
Heart clinics and Hypertension
- Holiday Advice
- Ear Syringing
- Wound checks and stitch removal
- Weight Management Clinics
- Women's Health clinics: cervical
smears, family planning, sexual
healthcare and screening
- Triage
- General Health screening
- Minor Ailments and Injury Clinics
Please make an appointment with a Nurse for
all of the above through Reception.
Midwife
The Midwife will be involved in your care
from the start of pregnancy until twenty eight days following delivery.
Antenatal clinics are held on Monday and Wednesday. To contact the midwife

(Surgery) and leave a message.
District Nurses
They are bases at the Practice and are
involved in giving highly skilled care to patients. A wide variety of needs
are met, ie: post operative care, wound dressings (2 clinics held at Surgery
each week), giving injections, taking blood and providing palliative care.
They also liaise with other agencies, Macmillan nurses and hospital
